The Evo PT Wheelchair is a self-balancing personal transporter - a single-person electric wheelchair comprising a two-wheeled platform on which the rider stands.
Unlike other vehicles, it uses a self-balancing gyroscopic system for steering, changing directions depending on which way the rider moves the steering bar left or right. To move forward, the rider leans forward, and leans back to reverse.
Modular Dual Redundance (MDR): Two gyro systems work simultaneously, so should one component fail, the second system immediately takes over without issue to the rider.
